Hello world!

Hey there, fellow adventurers! As I sit down to write this blog, I can't help but feel a surge of excitement and a pinch of nerves. You see, I'm here to share my personal journey, connect with others battling the same disorder, and inspire those who dare to travel the world with a disability. I'm right there with you, every step of the way!

Let me take you on a little rollercoaster ride through my travel planning. Initially, I had grand plans to jet off to Mexico and embark on a six-month adventure through Central and South America. But life had other plans, as my neuro condition decided to flare up just when I thought I had it all figured out. Cue a flurry of tests, doctor visits, and uncertainty. The results? Well, it was a frustrating shrug of shoulders accompanied by a heartfelt "we don't have all the answers."

But you know what? I wasn't about to let that stop me. Armed with resilience and an indomitable spirit, I decided to take it day by day, following the advice of my medical team. And guess what happened the very next day? I took a leap of faith and booked my flight to Europe, with a little detour through the enchanting lands of Thailand. Yep, I'm doing this solo, and it's both thrilling and terrifying at the same time.

Now, let's get real. Traveling with a neurological condition like mine is no walk in the park. There are moments when I feel vulnerable, and the unknown can be daunting. But here's the thing—I refuse to let fear define me. I believe that with a little preparation, self-care, and a touch of wanderlust, I can conquer any challenge that comes my way.

So, join me on this adventure as we explore the ins and outs of traveling with a disability. Together, we'll uncover practical tips, heartfelt stories, and a whole lot of inspiration. Whether it's finding accessible accommodations, embracing new experiences, or simply navigating the uncharted territories of self-discovery, we've got each other's backs.

And to my fellow warriors out there facing similar battles—remember, you're not alone. This blog is a safe space, a virtual community where we can share our triumphs, our fears, and everything in between. So let's embark on this journey together, supporting and uplifting one another along the way.

Buckle up, my friends. We're about to dive headfirst into a world of possibilities, where courage knows no bounds and our disabilities become mere stepping stones to incredible adventures.
